Job Description/Requirements
A reputable rural bank in the Ashanti Regions is requiring the services of qualified persons for the following job position: Branch Manager
Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for the overall credit administration at the branch (Appraisal, Monitoring, Recovery and Credit returns)
• Ensure preparation and submission of prudential returns to the Head Office
• Maintain acceptable internal control practices in accordance with the operational manual
• Manage the total deposits of the Branch and ensure its growth
• Prepare and interpret annual budget
• Manage all assets at the branch
• Monitor daily operations to ensure a free flow process and also supervise the execution of daily tasks by staff at the branch
• Monitor staff performance and attendance as well as ensure discipline at the branch
Qualification Required & Experience
• A good first degree from a recognized institution
• A minimum of 3 years working experience in Branch Operations
• MBA qualification will be an added advantage
Competencies and skills
• Strong communication and people skills including presentation skills
• Knowledge in Temenos 24 and other applications
• Strong management and organizational skills
• Demonstration of creativity and business acumen
• Excellent administrative and supervision skills
• Good team player
• Should have passion for deposit mobilization
