Automation Sales Engineer

Location: Accra

An electromechanical company dealing in the sales and servicing of pumps and its accessories as well as electrical control panels, seeks to hire a Project Sales Engineer.

As Project Sales Engineer you are co-responsible for providing a technically effective solution to the potential customer. You are the hinge between the customer’s demand and the technical/economical best fitting solution.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support required to address customers met and unmet needs and recommend solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the firm
• Meet assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines, market areas and designated teams
• Liaise competently and promptly with all customers, developing a good working relationship and attend to their requests efficiently and diligently ensuring that customers receive the highest level of customer service
• Provide information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and reports.
• Responsible for the total development of the product across all sectors.
• Offer product training to all customers and potential clients
• Obtain product market share by working with Sales Manager to develop product sales strategies.
• Undertake sales and marketing activities for ABB and electric motors 
• Assess market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.

Requirements

·      BSc Electrical Engineering

• Min. 5 to 7 years’ experience in commercial and technical sales.
• Ability to demonstrate self-leadership and motivate teammates and clients where required.
• Must have strong client/stakeholder orientation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong presentation skills
