Assistant Shore Representative

Role Description

This is a contract role for an Assistant Shore Representative located in Ghana. The role involves daily tasks related to supporting shore operations, coordinating logistics, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with project specific requirements and local regulations. The Assistant Shore Representative will work closely with the team to ensure operational efficiency and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities Include:

• Vessel visits and participate in job start-up meetings to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Ensure efficient coordination of resources to support operational needs.
• Assist Operations support supervisor with onshore operations, liaising between vessel, management, and external contractors.
• Prepare and present operational progress reports to project stakeholders.
• Assist with management of onshore support teams, including subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and project-specific requirements.

Qualifications:

• Min bachelor’s in a related industry discipline, or at least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated commitment to adhering to and integrating the company’s Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policy.
• Strong understanding of technical support issues and processes related to the operations of seismic vessels, with specialized knowledge of the seismic discipline.
