Job Summary
The Assistant Procurement Officer will assist the procurement department to source, purchase, and manage supplies, and services. This role is responsible for ensuring organizational policy compliance, timely procurement, and cost-effective sourcing in order to meet operational requirements.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in preparation of accurate Local Purchase orders
- Ability to maintain accurate procurement records and documentation ensuring high compliance standards
- Ability to multi-tasks and work under pressure
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and coordinating reorders.
- Assisting in the preparation of reports and audits
- Ability to maintain accurate records on supplier base and creditors accounts
- Assisting to conduct market research to identify new suppliers and market trends
- Ability to source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
- Ability to address and resolve issues related to deliveries, discrepancies, or quality concerns.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Education:
- HND in Procurement and Supply Chain Management
- Completed national service
Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years in procurement and supply chain management (we may accept internship experience).
Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking
