Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and messages.
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports.
- Take minutes during meetings.
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments and arrange meetings.
- Coordinate travel arrangements.
- Maintain accurate and up to date records and files.
- Develop and implement filing systems.
- Order supplies and manage inventory.
- Enter data into database s or spreadsheets.
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, such as invoicing and expense tracking.
- Prepare and process documents, reports, and presentations.
- Provide customer service and support.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Coordinate events, conferences and meetings.
- Arrange catering, accommodations and logistics.
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues.
- Assist with hardware and software maintenance.
Requirements:
- High school, Diploma, HND, Degree.
- Experience 1-3 years of administrative experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent communication organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Familiarity with database management and record keeping systems.
- Certified administrative professional (CAP) or certified administrative assistant (CAA) certificates are advantageous.
- May work in various industries, including business, healthcare, education, or government.
- Typical 40-hour workweek.
