The Administrative Accountant is responsible for managing and overseeing financial and administrative functions to ensure efficient operations. This role combines accounting tasks with administrative responsibilities, making it critical for supporting organizational goals and maintaining accurate financial records.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Duties:

  • Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of all financial transactions.
  • Process payroll, including tax and benefits calculations.
  • Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Monitor and manage organizational expenses and cash flow.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial documents, invoices, and receipts.


Administrative Duties:

  • Coordinate office operations, including scheduling meetings and managing communications.
  • Maintain filing systems for financial and administrative records.
  • Oversee procurement of office supplies and vendor management.
  • Handle correspondence and liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and stakeholders.
  • Support HR functions, such as onboarding and maintaining employee records.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and legal requirements.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.


Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in accounting or administrative roles.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)


Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting standards


Interpersonal Skills:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.


Attention to Detail: Ability to handle sensitive financial data with precision and confidentiality.
