Job Description/Requirements
This is a part-time role for an Accounting Associate. The Accounting Associate will handle tasks such as preparing financial statements, recording journal entries, and utilizing accounting software. The individual will also engage in financial analysis and other related tasks. This is a hybrid role based in Ejisu, which allows for some work from home.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in preparing Financial Statements and recording Journal Entries
- Experience with Accounting Software
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting in Ghana is a plus
- Maintaining accurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconciling bank statements and credit card statements
- Assisting with the preparation of budget reports
- Filing sales tax returns and other tax-related documents (SSNIT, GRA, etc)
** This is a part-time opportunity. Knowledge of QuickBooks is a must **
QUALIFICATIONS
• 3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
• Must be proficient with QuickBooks Premier
